Hey there,
So I thought I would let you guys in on where the whole moving to England thing stands at the moment. So despite the fact that there really isn't that much time left before I go, you'd think I'd be more concerned....nope, that I would be better prepared. Well....I'm going to let you in on a not so hidden secret...I'm a bit of a procrastinator...and when I say I bit I mean a huge procrastinator....as in if I were a super hero my super power would be procrastinating. This whole move thing is going to end well....
Anyway I digress so other then having a job when I get there, which when it comes down to it is a huge tick off my list. The only other thing I have accomplished is getting my passport, and when I say getting a passport I mean I applied for my UK passport and am waiting to (cross fingers) get it back...soon... I am first of all pretty lucky though that I was eligible for my passport because it makes things a whole bunch easier, my Dad was born in England so lucky me! Anyway way the main draw is that I don't have to be constricted by the regular youth visa I normally would have applied for, which is only two years and you can't renew. However despite my awesome passport (hopefully) and my job (yes!) I have nothing....I mean I'm not even completely sure when I'm heading off...I should probably get on that...among other things!
Thats about all, I thought I would let you guys know because maybe that will mean that I slowly get my act together and actually start being proactive! lol

Count Down Begins
Hi there!
Let me start by outlining that I'm pretty new to this whole writing my own blog thing, which is great because right now a bunch of things are pretty new to me, also great! I recently, aka yesterday I sent over a scanned contract, accepted an offer to supply teach in London starting January! Which I'm pretty pumped about needless to say.
I'm a recent graduate....well I graduated in the spring if that counts. And this is going to be my first real teaching job! And not only that I'm moving away from home, too far away if you ask my mother, and I'll be honest Canada to England not too shabby. Anyway I realize that this whole blogging my experiences is a bit over played these days but I thought I would give it a shot...even if I'm the only one reading these. We shall see how it goes!
I plan on trying to blog about as much of the experience as I can, starting with getting over there! SO seeing as I don't have a flight booked or have decided on an exact date on which to leave lets just start the count down with a general 1 3/4 months to go!
PS bare with me on the whole getting used to blogging thing ;D
